Before your appointment:

To get the best results and avoid irritation, please follow these prep steps:

• Hair length: Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice).

• Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells.

• Clean skin: Come with clean, dry skin—no lotions, oils, or deodorant on the area being sugared.

• Avoid sun & tanning: Do not sunbathe or use tanning beds 24 hours before your appointment.

• Pain management: If you’re sensitive, you may take an over-the-counter pain reliever (like ibuprofen) 30–45 minutes before.

• Skip shaving: Do not shave between appointments—it disrupts your growth cycle.

• Clothing: Wear loose, breathable clothing to minimize irritation after your service.

After your appointment:

For the smoothest results and to prevent irritation, please follow these after-care tips:

• No heat: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, tanning, or working out for 24 hours.

• Hands off: Do not touch or scratch the sugared area—bacteria on your hands can cause irritation.

• Exfoliate: Begin gentle exfoliation 48–72 hours after your service and continue 2–3 times a week to prevent ingrowns.

• Moisturize: Apply a lightweight, fragrance-free moisturizer daily to keep skin soft.

• Avoid tight clothing: Wear loose, breathable fabrics for the first 24 hours.

• No harsh products: Avoid retinols, acids, and scrubs on the treated area for at least 48 hours.

• Schedule consistently: Sugaring works best when maintained every 4–6 weeks.
